JMM Workshop "Transitions"

We often assume that missionaries when they return home at the end of their service in the field that they will just fit into their home culture easily. Many times, we do not realise that this is not the case and that they go through many stages of grief and loss and often may take years to resolve the loss of what was familiar to them.

It is important for members to understand how transitions affect the missionaries and how as members of the church they can help to provide the much needed support to returning missionaries.

What then is the role of the body of believers, His church?
